Nancy Sinatra: Those Boots Are Still Walkin’

I think she had a famous father or something.  Fred, Felix… right…  Frank.

The beautiful Nancy Sinatra recorded one of the catchiest songs around. Boots has become synonymous with her very name. The song never gets old to me.

You’d think someone that pretty would have let herself go by now. No way. She’s still gorgeous and very active. She reminds me a bit of Diane Keaton.

Take a look at her website. It’s full of photos, videos and she has a blog/diary that’s kept more up to date than a lot of people’s.

Although I think Boots, that’s certainly not all she’s ever done. On the contrary. Her music has been featured in movies like Kill Bill  and You only Live Twice. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, and even hit the dance charts with Shot You Down , her version of Bang Bang.

She’s not the “daughter” of anybody… she’s Nancy Sinatra

I borrowed the photos from there. Don’t tell anyone.

Oh, before you go, take a look at a fun Boots video.

    Nancy,

Whenever I hear one of your songs like “Some Velvet Morning” or “Sugartown”, I realize those were the best years of my life. The world was a better place and your music played a huge part in that era of happiness. I have always been a fan of yours. I loved the duets you did with Lee Hazelwood and was saddened by his passing. I also love the song “Something Stupid” you sang with your awesome father.

Sometimes staying natural and not using plastic surgery / botox is best. And, some people age better than others, like her sister. Plus, we don’t know what else is going on in her life. I have permanant nerve damage and went through cancer treatments within the last two years, I don’t look anything like I did just months before my injury.

That tune is totally amazing, and I’m not really into that genre.
