The songs from Get Real are an odd mix to say the least. Songs that I wouldn’t think of twice if not for being in a very good movie. This is now one of my favorite albums and songs from it are a standard on the station.
This isn’t an ‘inspired by’ CD. All the music is in the film. One song, though didn’t make the CD and that’s Aretha Franklin’s Think. It was the last song and ended the movie in an upbeat way. But, I just shoved my copy of Think right in my Get Real folder and playlists and it’s complete.
The movie is a good one and it brings the music together.
What if you can’t avoid

The music creeps up on you and you find yourself suddenly liking songs like Word Up !
